Queen Mary’s CHILL: Ice Kingdom Adventure!

What a better way to start the holidays than enjoying a winter wonderland in Long Beach at the Queen Mary’s Chill festivity!

Last night I had the chance to get a sneak preview of the Ice Kingdom before the public and let me tell you, I was in heaven! Walking through the North Pole, seeing candy canes and lollipops sprouting from the ground, gingerbread houses and snow all over the place made me feel like a kid again. photo 2

First thing I was was the huge snowman bounce house, a rockin’ reindeer that I wanted to get on, the largest rocking horse I’ve ever seen, and an ice skating rink with a view to die for. These were just a few of the great activities that the Queen Mary’s CHILL frozen holiday adventure had to offer.

That’s not even the best part of it! Their exclusive Ice Kingdom featuring The Nutcracker Story made from more than 2 million pounds of sparkling ice was magnificent. But first, before I made my way to the freezing fortress I grabbed an inner tube and made my way down the 6 lane tubing run! Then I prepped myself for the almost 4 degree CHILL that I was going to enter. Boy was it cold inside the Ice Kingdom, but the sculptures were amazing! Such skill and hard work, displayed all over the place, then the best part, the deck of the Queen Mary with 3 lane slides. I of course had to try it and went down every single lane, I then had to leave because my fingers were getting far too cold for me. Catch of glimpse of me sliding down HERE! (excuse the poor quality)

I then took to the ice skating rink and jammed out to some tunes under the stars. When I got hungry I went over and grabbed some snacks. Offering delicious fair inspired food such as, bacon wrapped foot long hotdogs, turkey legs, pizza, funnel cakes and deep-fried oreos, I didn’t know what to choose from!

The Queen Mary’s CHILL events kicks off today, Friday, November 22 and goes all through January 5th! Tickets can be purchased on the site at QueenMary.com/Chill. A great place to celebrate with friends and family, this was something I will never forget!
