#TBT: Natasha Barinas Launches Stylish and Sophisticated Fashion Line, Sexpot Swimwear

This edition of #ThrowingItBack includes my interview with Natasha Barinas, creator and designer of Sexpot Swimwear for Variety Latino. Enjoy!

Summer is right around the corner and soon it will be time to throw on that swimsuit and head to the beach.

But before you get ready to go bathing suit shopping let me recommend you the new collection from Sexpot Swimwear by designer Natasha Barinas.

Specializing in sophisticated, stylish and sassy looks, Natasha launched her new line during Miami Swim Week in July 2014 aiming to flatter each figure with swimsuits that feature clean lines and a minimalist approach.

The Sexpot Swimwear line is youthful, filled with bright colors ranging from a deep jewel palette available in silhouetted one and two-pieces that come in a variety of designs perfect for mixing and matching tops and bottoms.

The 32-year old Dominican American designer created the line with the urbanite in mind and no doubt about it her Look Book shoot reflects just that showing us stylish swimwear in cool and edgy locations highlighting the versatility of every design.

Natasha infuses each look with a modern and sleek design, talent she exercised while studying Fashion at Laboratory Institute of Merchandising in New York. The designer then honed her craft working with major brands such as Rebecca Minkoff, Alexander Wang, Gap Inc. and Andrew Marc only to now venture on and create fresh looks with her ideas in the forefront.

With Sexpot Swimwear, the creative mastermind gives stylish ladies the right kind of Summer looks without the need of added accessories, cutouts or extra bling to make it dazzle. Each piece in the collection is manufactured in the USA with luxurious Italian fabric and it’s signature lipstick red lining. Separate pieces range from $88 to $128 and one-pieces start at $248.
