As the seasons change so does your wardrobe. However, while we all have moments of wanting to revamp our entire closet with new pieces, not all of us have the luxury of spending hundreds on new clothes.

That’s where Micaela Erlanger — celebrity stylist to Lupita Nyong’o, Michelle Dockery, Diane Kruger, Ana de Armas and more — comes in handy! The New York native recently released her book, “How to Accessorize: A Perfect Finish to Every Outfit,” an everyday style guide filled with tips and tricks to complete any outfit with the perfect accessories. Apart from sharing her knowledge about the must-have bags and jewelry every woman should own, the rules of seasonality (which fabrics work for each season) and more, Erlanger also touches on how to reinvent your wardrobe using three fantastically simple accessorizing tricks. I had the opportunity to chat with Erlanger and get some tips on how to make the old feel new again.

“Sometimes it can feel daunting or complicated when you’re putting together an outfit and, as a stylist and expert in this area, I know that it doesn’t have to be so over complicated,” Erlanger tells me, adding that her book “gives an overview and simple step-by-step process of how to add a perfect finish to every outfit.”

Women are joining forces to say “time’s up” in a distinctive style.

The 75th Golden Globes will be unlike any previous awards ceremony in that women from all areas of the entertainment industry are taking a stand against sexual misconduct and harassment in the workplace by opting to wear black on the red carpet.

For this year’s celebration, the females behind the newly-created Time’s Up initiative have encouraged attendees to wear the dark hue as a way of expressing solidarity for the victims, but also changing the narrative on how things are done in the industry.

Best of 2017 Fashion Week – Dior, Valentino & More

Fashion Week

Fashion week came and went, and I wish I could’ve had more time to really take it in and watch every runway show. There’s something wild and risqué about Fashion Weeks overseas, the designers’ collections have more of everything: More leather, more lace, more ruffles and more over-the-top looks.

Dior stunned once again during Paris Fashion Week, with Maria Grazia Chiuri showcasing her navy blue collection. From elegant to everyday wear, she’s definitely cementing herself as the new head honcho at the French Maison.

2017 Couture Week Highlights: The Best Shows and Looks of SS17

Paris Couture Week took place January 22 to 26 and featured a slew of breathtaking looks and collections from the fashion industry’s top designers.

Exquisite pieces, glamorous ensembles, over-the-top and irresistible gowns and outfits overtook the runways. Among those that stood out for me were – of course – Dior and Valentino. I will continue to follow Maria Gracia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s designs, even if they are no longer working together.

Valentino Pre-Fall 2017: Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Second Solo Offering Is Angelic (Photos)

When I went to Rome in September of last year, I walked into the two-story Valentino store and felt like I was in heaven. I slowly walked around, my fingers brushing the delicate fabric, careful to not ruin anything, excited to actually be in the presence of  such beautiful art created by Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri.

Now, Piccioli has launched his second solo offering for Valentino since Chiuri left the house for Dior; and his Pre-Fall 2017 collection is just as dreamy, angelic and feminine as ever.
