There is new designer that I have fallen for and his name is Lorenzo Serafini. The designer oversees the creative direction at Philosophy. He is a Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli vet who has not only captured my eye but the industry’s eye as well. Serafini showcased his first Pre-Fall collection in 2014. It featured 70’s and 80’s era looks with modern tailoring and flattering silhouettes. At the Alberta Ferretti’s little sister label he is creating a whole new vintage collection that will make you swoon.

Serafini is drawing in a more high-profile crowd with his Princess Diana and Siouxsie Sioux inspired Fall-Winter collection. Every new look that came out made me event more excited for his line. The 43 piece collection featured pastel colors mixed with Gothic tones, lace, black and red leather, jewel-toned velvet, chiffon, fur and exaggerated ruffles.
“It’s still very romantic but with a new element, more decadent, slightly less innocent and ready to party,”the designer told reporters backstage out his new line of work before his show during Milan Fashion Week.
