Best of 2017 Fashion Week – Dior, Valentino & More

Fashion Week

Fashion week came and went, and I wish I could’ve had more time to really take it in and watch every runway show. There’s something wild and risqué about Fashion Weeks overseas, the designers’ collections have more of everything: More leather, more lace, more ruffles and more over-the-top looks.

Dior stunned once again during Paris Fashion Week, with Maria Grazia Chiuri showcasing her navy blue collection. From elegant to everyday wear, she’s definitely cementing herself as the new head honcho at the French Maison.

Paris Couture Week took place January 22 to 26 and featured a slew of breathtaking looks and collections from the fashion industry’s top designers.

Exquisite pieces, glamorous ensembles, over-the-top and irresistible gowns and outfits overtook the runways. Among those that stood out for me were – of course – Dior and Valentino. I will continue to follow Maria Gracia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli’s designs, even if they are no longer working together.
