Today I woke up a little happier, many people via social media were excited and in good spirits about it being Monday. Positivity was all around!

It may be gloomy outside but my spirits are high and with a gingerbread latte in hand I give you my Music Monday selection.

Travie McCoy featuring Jason Mraz “Rough Waters”, an unlikely pairing but I must say, I dig it!

The song talks about relationships, breakups and never letting go of your loved one when you’re sinking. As McCoy and Mraz travel around NYC we get a very chill atmosphere with Travie’s slick rhymes and Jason’s smooth silky voice that complements the rapper’s tune. Following in what would seem like another “Billionaire” song type with Bruno Mars back in the day, with some R&B, soft rock feel, this song is easily a hit!
