Hart of Dixie Recap: “One More Last Chance”

20140113-202119.jpg

After last week’s musical episode can we get some normalcy in BlueBell. Joel and Zoe are on the look for a new place to stay and Wade is ready to meet Viviene’s son. The town is ready to win the hearts of everyone and continue to save BlueBell. Catch up with last week’s episode HERE!

Zoe is upset that Viviene lied to her about her Aunt Winifred and how she is an evil cranky aunt. She confronts her and it’s because Zoe is a New Yorker and she hates New Yorkers. But Zoe is in love with a property that Aunt Winifred has and hopes that she can get her to like her. So then Zoe is trusted with taking care of Viviene’s son Harley while she is on her date with Wade that night. Wade gets the chance to meet Viv’s son and it looks like things are going great until he asks for ice cream and when she is gone to grab some, he tells Wade that his salamander will kill him in his sleep if he doesn’t break up with his mom. Oh snap!

Tanzy and Lynly have been hanging out a bit much and George is all flustered by the idea. Now that Tanzy is broken up and single he keeps thinking it’s weird. Then on a girls day, Lynly accidentally burns off her hair and George thinks she did it on purpose.

Lieutenant Governor Bird is coming to town and everyone, especially Lavon, is freaking out trying to impress him. While AnnaBeth is putting up a picture of him in Brick’s offices, Shelby sees it and gets flustered. Hmm is there something we’re missing here.

Wade and Viviene are out on their date and Joel and Zoe are babysitting, which isn’t going so well as their place isn’t kid friendly and then Harley goes all Dr. Phil on them and forces them to argue about who’s afraid of commitment. As Wade and Viv are getting all steamy, the doorbell rings and there’s Joel and Zoe with her son. None very happy at all.  The next day Zoe and Joel discuss how they need to get out of that B&B and the only place they agree on is Aunt Winifred place so they make a plan to win her over. First step to this plan is to get Wade to talk Zoe up while Zoe talks up Wade to little Harley.

It’s “Action” time for BlueBell as they try to win over Lieutenant Governor’s approval. The town is at its best and nothing can go wrong. Well there’s one thing that could go wrong. Shelby calls AnnaBeth for an emergency and it’s just because she’s hungry and can’t go into town. Why is that? She’s avoiding someone, actually she’s avoiding the man she slept with 8 months ago…um could this mean that the Lieutenant could be Shelby’s baby daddy? AnnaBeth surprised by the news tells Shelby that she better tell him that he is the father.

Things aren’t going to well at Aunt Winifred’s, first intro and she already insults them and walks away while little Harley keeps telling Wade off. Wade finds the right words to convince Winifred to accept Zoe while Zoe finds the key word that wins over Harley for Wade. After Wade helps him build the perfect fort he helps him unload his backpack but accidentally tosses his beloved salamander with it. Oh no!

Looks like BlueBell and the Lieutenant are hitting it off, though a minor bump in the road occurs as George and Lynly start to have a small fight when they are supposed to kiss. Tanzy calls her crazy eyes and tells George to ask her why she said that when she was curling her hair it smelt like popcorn. George keeps thinking that Lynly might have done it on purpose and after they kiss when they are supposed to, she runs off crying. George goes to see her and they talk it out but turns out that Lynly has decided to leave town and go back home.

Right when the Lieutenant has agreed to sign the papers to save BlueBell Shelby comes in to give him the wonderful news! Um, wrong choice. Another wrong choice, Zoe taking the blame for Wade losing little Harley’s salamander. She makes up a story about looking through his backpack for lip balm and Aunt Winifred blames it on her New-York-ness and tells her she will not rent her the house. Wade, being the good guy goes to Harley and tells him the truth about losing Siezzle his Salamander. Then Viviene and Zoe show up with Siezzle, but he’s not fooled he knows that this one isn’t the same one and that Siezzle 2 hates Wade as well.

Now the Lieutenant is all worked up about the recent news Shelby gave him. He goes to talk to her and after Shelby is with Brick telling him the whole truth about the Lieutenant and the baby and how she is leaving BlueBell. Looks like there’s more than one goodbye in this episode. Lavon sadly tells the people at the Rammer Jammer that BlueBell is not saved but then the Lieutanent arrives and says he forgot t o sign the papers and declares BlueBell a historic landmark. Joel and Zoe decide to get a home, but Joel tells her that they will buy it. This is a new, huge step for this lovely couple. It also seems like things are good between Viviene and Wade and everyone is a happy couple.

We’ll see what Hart of Dixie brings us next week!

Hart of Dixie Recap: “Something To Talk About”

20140113-202119.jpg

Welcome back Hart of Dixiers! Am I glad to have Zoe Hart back in my life and of course hottie Wade. Last night we got a brand new episode, “Something to Talk About” and my is it something to talk about! Need a refresher on what’s been happening in BlueBell? Recap the mid-season finale “Miracles” HERE!

To sum of from the last episode, Wade is into Zoe’s cousin, Lemon has left to take care of grandma Breeland and Tanzy is back and working at the Rammer Jammer. We start off with Zoe and her cousin Vivian chit chatting it up and finding out that she has a date with none other than Wade himself!

It looks like there might be a town merger between Fillmore and BlueBell and this is a big no, no for Mayor Hayes. Being that the towns are too small the governor of Alabama thinks this would be a great idea. But not really. Mayor Gainey and his lawyer Scooter McGreavy are all for it but there’s something fishy about this so Lavon and George approach Tanzy, who is dating Scooter to help them out and find out why they are so for this. So now it’s up to George, Tanzy and Lavon to save the town from this happening. As the press, presses AnnaBeth for info about whats happening with the town, she sets up a meeting with Wade, Zoe and Joel to come up with some type of breaking news to distract Dash from getting the goods. The final decision is that Joel and AB pretend to have an affair.

As Lavon, Tanzy and George head to Fillmore to sneak into Scooter’s office to find out what is happening, Lavon wonders if his cousin Lynly is in trouble since George and Tanzy have been hitting it off. Might we recall how George desperately tried to avoid eating out with Lynly and taking her near the Rammer Jammer only to run into Tanzy at Buttersticks. George tells Lavon that he has nothing to worry about and so that is that. While they do their deep investigating they find out that Fillmore is trying to take over all of BlueBell. When it’s time to head back to BB, Lavon is surprised to find out that AB has been “cheating” on him with Joel.

Lemon is away taking care of her grandmother and Brick is accidently playing house with Shelby when she interprets his kindness as an invitation to move into his home. Being that she’s 7 months pregnant, she is quite a handful and when Brick’s date gets to the house, she gets a surprise and quickly leaves. Poor Brick loses it and shouts at Shelby causing an awkward drift between them. Don’t worry things end well between them and Shelby is allowed to stay.

While Zoe takes pictures of Joel and AnnaBeth she sneaks a peek at Wade’s and Vivian’s date and starts to obsess about them. The next day Vivian is on cloud9 and asks Zoe for her thoughts on Wade. Zoe thinking she is doing a good thing tells Viv that she has no comment on Wade, thus making Viv think that Wade is bad news. As for Wade he asks Joel what his opinion is about calling someone the day after a date because he’s really into her. Joel tells him to go for it but unfortunately Vivian has already said no to the Wade train. Angrily, Wade goes to Zoe to ask her why she keeps messing with and punishing him. After Wade tells Zoe that maybe she’s the only one in the town that hasn’t seen he’s changed, he says why is she so crazy about him dating her cousin.

As Lavon and George discover that the Mayor of Fillmore is planning to take over BlueBell and put a giant mall in the middle of town square, they decide to hold a town meeting to set things straight. As the town panics, poor Lynly is worried that the time that Tanzy and George spend together might be a downer on their relationship.

Zoe Hart has a soft spot for Wade but maybe not same fire that she once used to have for him. Which might not be true because I know they are meant for each other! She heads to her cousin’s home to tell her that Wade is a top notch guy, that she loves Joel and that maybe Vivian should give Wade another chance.

Wade is happier than ever now that Vivian has giving him a call and they are set to have a second date. Rose might have the chance to get an article published in the Huffington Post and is thrilled. And all is semi-right in the BlueBell world, aside from maybe a merger and Lynly potentially losing George.

Come back next week as we recap the new episode and comment about how Wade and Zoe are meant to be together.

Hart of Dixie Recap: “I Run To You”

Ladies and gents, George Tucker is back in the dating game with Lynly but still keeping it from Lavon to save each other from a potential beating. Lavon and AnnaBeth haven’t seen each other in a while and he’s slightly avoiding AB. To catch up on why these situations from Hart of Dixie are happening click HERE!

AnnaBeth has a new hobby these days, she’s making jam to occupy her time from Lavon avoiding her and Zoe Hart is trying her hardest to separate Wade from Joel. Zoe gets a call from Joel’s agent about how he hasn’t answered his call and that his first three chapters were past due. Now stuck in a rut, Joel seems to have lost his creativity and has writer’s block.

I Run to You

Lavon is struggling with AnnaBeth’s ultimatum, even though she stated, “This is not an ultimatum”, guys…so simple minded. He decides to put all his energy into the BlueBell race to beat Fillmore in the competitions. His secret weapon this year, none other than sweet cousin Lynly. As the day before the race comes, Lynly and George seem to have some fun together causing her to injure her knee. As Lavon comforts her she spills the beans on her relationship. Watch out GT!

Lavon goes to Tucker’s house boat he gives him an ultimatum, stop dating Lynly or be out of the race! George tells him that he can’t tell him who to date and thus goodbye George Tucker from the competition. Lynly and George discuss their situation and of course Lynly gets all worked up and happy that he quit the games for her, and so their new relationship begins. The day of the races comes and Lavon is without his secret weapon, no GT and no hope. This is when George goes up to Lavon, tells him what he and Lynly is true and if he wants he can help him out. The races begin and who brings in the win for BlueBell, none other than George Tucker!

Zoe on the other hand gets all worked up as Tom tells her she could be the one to destroy Joel’s writing career. Being the great girlfriend she is, Zoe decides to turn part of the Rammer Jammer into the old cafe Joel wrote his first book at back in New York to get the creative juices flowing. Unfortunately Joel just doesn’t have it in him and tells her he might as well call his agent and let them know he can’t do it.

But he can, and he will now that Wade has told him to just chill and let the inspiration come when he least expects it, one way which Zoe is not happy with. As Wade gives his house keys to Joel to be a free spirit, the adventure begins. Zoe wakes up the next morning, Joel is no where to be found until Wade gets a text from his ex-brothers-in-laws with a picture of Joel’s hand tied up, he’s been kidnapped! The two go off to get Joel back and of course some time together with Zoe lets Wade bring up the fact that she still has feelings for him. Now at the Truitt residence Zoe wants her man back! With a little negotiating, the brothers helping Wade out at the bar, Joel is free and loving life. Once released he gets back to his laptop to write all of his adventure down.

Back with Lavon and AnnaBeth, Lavon offers a space for her back at his place for all her “jam”. The two love birds are back together and making me oh-so happy! Joel is fully immersed in his novel and Lynly and George have gone public. All this time has made us forget about dear Lemon and Dr. Brick. Lemon has been so determined to find out who bought Fancys soon realizes that she might not have wanted to know. As soon as she finds out she heads over to her pops and brings Brick in to see who the buyer was. Things get intense when we see Brick’s old flame Shelby setting up shop in her new restaurant and lo and behold a baby bump! Brick is going to be a dad?!

Can’t wait for next’s week baby news and did Wade and Zoe kiss in the preview?! Come back next week for another Hart of Dixie Recap!

Hart of Dixie Recap: “Family Traditions”

HART OF DIXIE

Hart of Dixie was all new last night and thank goodness for Joel, who’s slowly gaining our approval. Speaking of approval, last week’s episode made Zoe’s new boy toy’s numbers of ‘likes’ rise, while Wade was still not too convinced Joel is Mr. Right. Click HERE for a full recap!

This week AnnaBeth is up to something and Lavon is going to Vegas for a bachelor party. Lynly is being very “George Tucker will be mine” and I don’t know how I feel about that. Zoe Hart tries to connect with family and Lemon gets an offer that is too good to be true.

The best restaurant in the area has come calling for Lemon, Edward owner of Fancies is thinking of retiring and giving the business to miss Lemon. As the Rammer Jammer is hitting it’s all time high, Lemon is thinking about buying Fancies and making her dreams come true. As she thinks things through she decides to break ties with Wade and give Edward an offer. Sadly the offer was too low and Lemon ask Wade to take her back. Wade the good Samaritan, tells Lemon of course, but will this be enough for her?

Joel persuades Zoe to call up her relatives as they embark on their house hunting spree. Finally realizing that family is forever she decides to crash a relative’s birthday party. Overwhelmed by so many people, Zoe does her quirky thing she always does and upon arrival when she is asked if she is the entertainment she says yes, making Joel be the magician for the birthday party.

Zoe ends up loving everything about the Wilkes and decides that she is going to tell them who she is after she had lied to them about her identity as the magician’s manager and her name being Chloe. She finally opens up to her cousin who she was bonding so well with, unfortunately things turn sour when she says she is Zoe Hart and all her cousin has to say is, just because you’re in the blood line doesn’t mean you belong. Ouch!

Family Tradition

Seem’s like AnneBeth’s parent’s are in town, thus we discover why she was so willing to let Lavon go out for a fun boys weekend. Worried that football rivalries might come between them, AB invites them over to have a happy family gathering then Lavon turns up and they try and make peace with her parents. Funny how they turn up the second time with Lavon’s team colors and jersey number. They love him! As they try and shmooze up to Lavon, we find out that they are really pushing marriage for their little BananaBeth!

As things get fired up with AnnaBeth’s parent’s nudging Lavon about weddings. AB stands up to them and tells them they are adults and will figure things out by themselves. As they depart for the night, Lavon makes AB upset when he tells her he is in no rush to marry. As AnnaBeth tells him that she needs more from Lavon, she needs to know that they are on the same Path.

Talking about Paths, Lynly is just pushing her luck with George as she tries making him jealous any second she gets. As Tucker falls for her tricks she demands that he kiss her and to let them be together. Poor broken hearted George says he can’t, but then he does. So we’ll see what’s to come for these two. The episode ends with Zoe talking to Joel about her family and how she didn’t realize how much she wanted them until she saw how happy they were. But as things are always up and down for Miss Hart we know Joel is there to take care of her.

Next week looks like Joel is kidnapped and Zoe and Wade go to his rescue! Here’s to hoping for a spicier and more adventurous episode!

What did you think of this week’s episode?

Hart of Dixie Recap: “Help Me Make It Through The Night”

hartofdi

It’s Halloween time in BlueBell and its citizen’s are just as thrilled about the town’s festivities.

Last week left us with Lemon quitting the Belle’s in Take This Job & Shove It.

Help Me Make it Through the Night, is the perfect title for last night’s episode as everyone is literally trying to make it through this, interesting night.

Wade’s in bed with a girl and it’s NOT Zoe Hart! Too bad we find out that his little one-night stand has a very threatening and buff BF who makes it his mission to track down Wade all through the night.

Lemon is blacklisted from the one party she desperately wants to attend and enlists some help to get her in. The Halloween Masquerade Ball is one of the most prestigious soirees and the only place that Lemon can find a suitable mate. This means serious business is in order as it’s time to call the one and only Grandpa Betty, her gracious and oh-so-charming self, *not the sarcasm, has arrived to help Lemon get into the Ball, much to Brick’s distaste. With a snap of her fingers Lemon is in and G-ma even got the righteous bachelor, Tanner Hughes as her date. You go grandma! Or so we think.

hart-of-dixie-270

Much to Zoe’s dislike, Joel and Wade spend some time together as he is on his quest to make new friends. They actually get along quite well on account that we all know Wade still loves Z.

As the night continues, having secured an invitation to the Ball and Tanner H., Lemon is less than thrilled with her pretentious date. One Tree Hill’s Robert Buckley makes a guest appearance as Peter, a news producer covering worldwide issues, who’s passing by town. What a cutie pie is he! Having been invited to the Masquerade we see that he’s quite smitten with Lemon. Being her escape to her tool-of-a-date at the Halloween Masquerade Ball, they make a dash for it and walk the streets of BlueBell and grab drinks as they get to know each other. Their night ends with a special kiss and an invitation into Peter’s B&B room.

Lovebirds, Levon and AnnaBeth’s anniversary is coming up and Lavon has a surprising night for AB that has her thinking she might get proposed to. AB runs to Zoe for a check up and to gossip about what Lavon might be up to, discovers a potential ovarian cyst that could lead to infertility. Scared that a future with Lavon would be ruined by this news,  AnnaBeth tries to distract him by having Zoe and Joel come over on their special night.

hartofdixie

Oh and that Wade Kinsella cannot get his hands off married and attached ladies as he continues to go after another one at the Masquerade Ball and continues to escape the refrigerator-sized bully coming after him. George disgusted by Wade’s actions asks him what is wrong with him and makes it known that Wade is only going after the ones he shouldn’t be with because he can’t get the one he truly wants.

At the end of the night Lemon, AB, and Wade make it through, as Lemon got a night to remember ;), we find out that AnnaBeth is healthy and ready  to have as many little football babies as she pleases but there was never a proposal in Lavon’s plans just a viewing of “The Night Of the Living Dead”, and Wade didn’t get killed by the crazy one-night stand’s boyfriend!

What are your thoughts on this week’s episode? Will Peter be Lemon’s one true love? Are we finally starting to maybe like Joel?
