For today’s Throwback Thursday we’re taking it back to 1997 with the Backstreet Boys and their greatest hit, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).”
It also gets us in the spirit of Halloween being that this fun-filled, crazy, dancing vid has a slew of devious creatures that will get us ready for the holiday. We see A.J. like the Phantom of the Opera, Nick like a mummy, Kevin like Dr. Jekyll & Hyde, Brian as a werewolf and Howie as a vampire. This song is my favorite BSB jam and it will always get the party started.
Starting off the week fresh with a couple new tracks today.
First off to begin your week check out the teaser trailer from the Backstreet Boys‘ second single from their latest album In A World Like This, “Show ‘Em (What You’re Made Of)”.
The 30 second clips shows us the five guys in a black backdrop and looking mighty fine I should say. Shirtless, abtastic shots from Brian Littrell who was never one to show some skin, and great looks are what’s in store for you.
“Show ‘Em (What You’re Made Of)” is a heart warming song about showing the world what you’ve got! Written by Kevin Richardson and A.J. McClean alongside Morgan Taylor Reid and Mika Guillory it is sure to fulfill you on your Backstreet harmony fix you might need. Seriously guys, every time I’ve seen/watched Kevin talk about this song he tears up! It’s such an inspirational song motivating you to show the world, what you’re made of!
Enjoy & go get ’em tiger!
Make sure to also check out the B.Spears new jam “Alien” here on La Vida Liz.
What a whirlwind of emotions the past couple of weeks have been for me. La Vida Liz is definitely loca and now I am in some serious relaxing time. On this late Sunday night, I’d like to take a moment to remember September 4th. The “In A World Like This” Backstreet Boys concert in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheater.
They showcased their best and beloved singles, had beautiful harmonies and busted out those favorite dance moves that made us fall in love with them.
Join me in reminiscing a great show and one of their most famous and greatest dance routine.
From all the commotion of Sunday night’s MTV Video Music Awards I decided to not even add anymore fuel to the fire and say what everyone has already said. So to take it back to the good ol’ days when I watched enthusiastically and waited for my fav pop artists to show up I decided to post one of my favorite performances.
The days when boy bands ruled the world and they ACTUALLY danced. Backstreet Boys performing “I Want It That Way” and then transitioning to “Larger Than Life”. When A.J.’s crop top was the center of discussion and their choreography made me want to start a dance career.
What was your favorite VMA performance of all time?
