Christmas is a time for family, food and fun. It’s a time to sit together with your loved ones and relax after opening gifts or just dinner and then watch some cheesy holiday movie that we know we all enjoy. While I KNOW there are a billion Christmas movies out there ranging from “The Santa Claus” to “Elf” to “Charlie Brown” to “The Grinch”,I caught myself searching through Netflix and stumbling upon some great ABC Family holiday favorites of mine.
Starting with “Christmas Cupid” which I recently discovered and good thing because it had Chad Michael Murray in it. Christmas Cupid stars Christina Milian, Ashley Benson and CCM and is the story of Sloan (Milian), a PR pro trying to move up in the ladder until her client dies and haunts her during Christmas warning her to change her ways. Think “The Christmas Carol”only with Hollywood execs.
Christmas is literally less than a week away and holiday parties are coming and going. In my search for the perfect festive look I stumbled across a great article on Harper’s Bazaar for the Top Ten Holiday Makeup Ideas. Prepared by Nicole Catanese, I must say that this post is top notch and great to look at right before the weekend to get some makeup ideas for all your parties you’ll be at!
When I discovered this list it inspired me to try some new looks, glitter, red lips and even maybe turquoise liner! These looks aren’t just perfect for the holidays they are great for New Years, birthdays and any types of celebrations!
Here’s a recap of the top ten ideas and to get the full article from HarpersBazaar.com click HERE! Let’s check them out:
Beckhams are looking so good on the cover of Paris Vogue and it’s making me oh so jealous!
Victoria Beckham is December/January’s guest editor for the 2014 Paris Vogue and who else to be on the cover than the her and her heartthrob husband David Beckham. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin the gorgeous couple look so much in love and like true royalty. Victoria had her fair share of guest editing when she took a shot at the 2012 September issue of Glamour. Now taking over the fashion bible, we get a lot more Beckham and we sure love that!
Emmanuelle Alt, editor-in-chief of French Vogue stated, “We handed over the running of this issue to a woman who, throughout our working together, has proved to be the exact opposite of her public image. She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour, humble yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition. She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work.”
The Christmas issue gives us plenty of Victoria, from her fashion loves, early Spice Girl days and her family and home life. The beautiful collection of old photographs and a spread that will have you dying of envy, V.B. is a force to be reckoned with.
“Being asked to be the guest editor of the Christmas issue of Vogue Paris this year was an incredible honour. Working with Emmanuelle Alt and her team was both exciting and inspiring and I am so proud of what we have created.” And so am I!
The December/January issue of Paris Vogue is out now! In the meantime be mesmerized by the beauty in the photographs below.
