My girl Victoria Beckham is launching her Estée Lauder collection in the U.S. and the U.K. on Sept. 13. The fashion designer and ex Spice Girl finally revealed the line’s first look, and you can get a sneak peek right here.
“I was very specific about what I wanted. It was about the must-have items that I felt everybody should have in their makeup bag, things that are really quite difficult to find because I know, I’ve searched,” Beckham told WWD.
“It’s just what I want to wear now but in a fresh way,” Victoria Beckham stated about her newest Fall Winter 2016 collection she revealed during New York Fashion Week on Sunday, Feb. 14.
The British designer showcased a line filled with plaid, in hues of autumn such as brown, greys, forest green and burgundy, even adding mustard color to the mix of corset-type dresses, mid-length skirts, and sweater dresses.
We made it to the end of another week! Now I love Victoria Beckham. She is my spirit animal, my fashion inspiration and idol. So naaaaturally I love to look at all her looks and put my own twist to them. Well, except this one, where I literally copied her! For a cheaper price 😉
While her dress cost thousands mine cost me around like $20 on eBay. So it goes to show that you can ALWAYS recreate looks for a much cheaper and affordable price!

On September 7th, Victoria Beckham showcased her new Spring / Summer 2015 designs at New York Fashion Week and my-oh-my did my eyes grow hearts like the emoji!
It was a spectacular show filled with the standard black and whites, structured lines, VB style dresses and a hint of color. The minimal look was not so minimal when looked at closely. Each piece came with a unique twist, from cut off sleeves, to a black line and hints of burgundy to full coats and suits.
The beige ensembles had an air of sophistication, while the black and whites make anyone have that signature Posh look.
The lines and stripes were definitely what caught my eyes on the runway and that maxi long sleeved is definitely a must have – but caution, this dress must be warn the right way. Keep it simple but significant!
I also have to praise Queen V with her burgundy suits that stole my heart. While they are very simple, the dark reddish tint is a fav of mine this season. I already have a blazer and shorts in that tone and would not refuse any of Becks collection either.
Of course I have to point out that her main squeeze, David Beckham was there that night supporting his one true love. David sat in between his son Brooklyn and Vogue Editor- in-Chief, Anna Wintour.
Due to technical difficulties, WordPress and my comp deleting my draft of the Hart of Dixie recap I had, I wound up just posting a fashion piece. Being that I just got a new position as a writer/reporter I’m hoping to still have time to write on La Vida Liz as it’s my baby and first love!
But my inspiration for this Work Attire post came from being a newly hired individual. There comes a time when you need to dress professional and pick a style to stick with. Obviously there’s a difference of style and casualness at every company. I would say for bigger and important meetings and events, the “Victoria Beckham” fitted elegant dress is always a go! Add some black pointed high heels and you’re all set. Minimal jewelry, maybe some earrings or a bracelet and a great watch to show you’re on time and ready to take on the day.
So be posh, trendy or simply neat, do your thang! And make it look great!
Now for a throwback Music Monday, I bring you “Holler” by The Spice Girls.
I recently found my SP greatest hits cd and jammed out to it this weekend. It made me start watching old Spice Girls videos and now I have to share one that I loved!
“Holler” was released in 2000 from their third studio album, Forever. This was a more mature and R&B feel than their classic pop hits. Geri Halliwell had left the spice girls two years prior to the release of this song and was greatly missed.
Beckhams are looking so good on the cover of Paris Vogue and it’s making me oh so jealous!
Victoria Beckham is December/January’s guest editor for the 2014 Paris Vogue and who else to be on the cover than the her and her heartthrob husband David Beckham. Photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin the gorgeous couple look so much in love and like true royalty. Victoria had her fair share of guest editing when she took a shot at the 2012 September issue of Glamour. Now taking over the fashion bible, we get a lot more Beckham and we sure love that!
Emmanuelle Alt, editor-in-chief of French Vogue stated, “We handed over the running of this issue to a woman who, throughout our working together, has proved to be the exact opposite of her public image. She is spontaneous with a great sense of humour, humble yet at the same time driven by a healthy ambition. She is a perfectionist, like everyone who is passionate about their work.”
The Christmas issue gives us plenty of Victoria, from her fashion loves, early Spice Girl days and her family and home life. The beautiful collection of old photographs and a spread that will have you dying of envy, V.B. is a force to be reckoned with.
“Being asked to be the guest editor of the Christmas issue of Vogue Paris this year was an incredible honour. Working with Emmanuelle Alt and her team was both exciting and inspiring and I am so proud of what we have created.” And so am I!
The December/January issue of Paris Vogue is out now! In the meantime be mesmerized by the beauty in the photographs below.
