I’m dedicating another Throwback Thursday to Aerosmith’s “Jaded.”

Why not, right?

Since this song came out in 2001 I 143, la la la loved it! Then while I was driving back home from work added a couple songs to my “Rockin’ Tunes” playlist on Spotify and decided that this should be a part of it. So I came home, watched the music video and now am writing about it.

Did you know Mila Kunis is in the video? Maybe you did.

Anyway Steven Tyler is oh-so-cool. Watch the video and let me know if you love it as much as I do.

Throwing It Back: Fashion Week Edition #LAFW

Hello La Vida-ers! Welcome to the first Thursday of February so in celebration of New York Fashion Week I’ll take you back to when I covered a smaller Los Angeles Fashion Weekend back in 2012.

This past Friday LA Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios kicked off in Hollywood, where Celebuzz got an exclusive seat to all of the weekend’s designers as they showed off their hottest new collections. Opening night brought us LA-based designer Anthony Franco’s SS12 presentation where he told us about his past trip to Mexico that inspired his line,

“As soon as we landed there was a sunset and we saw the orange and pink sky meet up with the beautiful blue ocean and at that point I knew my collection was going to have those color pallets. I sort of fused the two between the men’s collection and the women’s.”

The weekend’s lineup continued with shows from the ever creative and fierce Betsey Johnson, Karen Capili, Kelly Nishimoto, Dina Bar-El and Beach Rays. Some of the top buys, industry elite and stylist were among the invitees as well as some of today’s most recognized celebs.

Jack Black was one of the first stars to come out on opening night, along with True Blood star, Tara Buck, Glee’s favorite teacher Matthew Morrison who came out to support his model girlfriend, who walked in the shows all weekend, Angela Simmons sat front row for the Betsey Johnson show, as well Grey’s Anatomy  star Sarah Ramirez,  among others.

The three day celebration consisted of five shows mixed with astonishing formal gowns for all types of celebrations, flowy light-toned beachy wear, cut out party dresses, black, grey and white patterned dresses, body hugging evening wear, fun and flirty sleepwear and of course the fierce girly looks from Betsey Johnson.

There’s no doubt that we’ve all been on YouTube in search of hilarious videos, music from our favorite artists or to see someone cover a familiar song. What we don’t always expect is YouTube user to break out and make a name for herself. Well, major music contender and singing sensation Christina Grimmie has done just that and Celebuzz got a chance to talk to her about her journey to stardom!

Christina’s YouTube channel has received over 100 million views and is filled with videos of her recording amazing covers from popular songs. Accompanied by just a piano, she has gained more than one million subscribers on her channel over the last year! At just 17 years old, her first EP debuted at #31 on the Billboard chart and she recently ended a summer tour with Allstar Weekend and Selena Gomez + The Scene.

Recently, Christina was chosen as one of three up-and-coming artists to compete in the Coca-Cola collaboration project. Her fans voted her as the winner and she will now have the honor of performing at the Coca-Cola Red Carpet Live at the AMA’s this Sunday!

How did you start your music and YouTube channel?

When I was little, I always sang — always messed around with the piano. I’ve always been into music and YouTube didn’t come along until I was 15. My friend told me to put a video up and I didn’t want to do it. She said I should just do it and I gave it a shot and, well, here I am!

How has your life changed now there’s all this attention given to you?

I’m traveling a lot now. I have so many awesome fans that I love and they are kind of like family. I’ve really gotten to bond with them and I’m getting to really make music which is what I’ve always wanted to do.

Jennifer Lopez is making her return to American Idol, ladies and gents.
Rumors have been swirling that current AI judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj could be getting the axe, as producers are concocting a plan to get J.Lo back to the judges table.

But first things first. Lopez is set to make an appearance, but only as a performer… for now. The sexy songstress is set to strut her stuff on one of the two-part finale episodes May 15 and 16, according to E!.

While nothing is set in stone on a more permanent return to the hit FOX reality show, a source told E! that “there will definitely be changes to the judging panel for next season.”

Whether the rumors are true or not regarding Carey and Minaj getting the boot, we decided to remind you all of how J.Lo made her mark on reality TV.

Here are 5 reasons why we can’t get enough of this Jenny from the block.

The girl earned some MAJOR style points during her two-season tenure. Those tuning in every week got more than just a reality show when Lopez’s curves (and those abs!) took center stage. You can’t argue — J.Lo makes 43 look good.
