“The Vampire Diaries” recap: “The World Has Turned and Left Me Here”

The Vampire Diaries

Welcome, welcome VD Lovers!

Let chit chat about “The Vampire Diares” episode 5 “The World Has Turned and Left Me Here.”

If you haven’t caught up from last week or don’t remember all that happened, recap last episode, “Black Hole Sun,” HERE.

From what we can shortly recap is that Ivy is now a vampire and Stefan wakes up because his phone is ringing and gets a call from the coach who says that he still has Enzo in his possession and is torturing him. Once he hangs up he hears Ivy in the kitchen and sees her with blood in her mouth and she starts to tell him that she killed his boss. She is a sassy little one and says that she can’t control her emotions and even references “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” 😉 She gets all rallied up and goes after Stefan but he snaps her neck.

We then arrive at Caroline’s dorm with Stefan and Ivy in a trunk. He is asking her to take care of Ivy in the meantime and of course Caroline gives in. Next we see Alarec is teaching and we find out that it is Homecoming, does this mean another party? But he goes on and tells a tale of Homecoming and that the morale of the story is to never fall in love with your brother’s girl and looks at Elena who is in his class and asks if he wants to have her compulsion removed and she says no. After class Elena asks Liam to the Corn Maze and it’s a date!

“The Vampire Diaries” recap: “Black Hole Sun”

“Vampire Diaries” fans unite to recap the 4th episode, “Black Hole Sun.”

Forgot what happened before? Recap the last episode HERE.

We start off with Damon with Kai, the guy that they found in the “twilight zone,” when Bonnie comes in and they start to bicker about how they have to figure out how to get out of there and why 1994 is a significant year.

We go back to 1994 to supposedly the time when Damon did “worst thing ever.” We see Damon go to the Salvatore home to see Stefan but he can’t enter his home. That’s because a human owns the home and then he lets him in.

Now we go back to present time with Stefan on a call with Elena about trying to find Sarah, the girl that they compelled but now remembers that Elena is a vampire. Stefan is trying to leave town but Elena won’t let him. She is probably in Mystic Falls where the vampires can’t go and then says that it’s Matt and Jeremy’s responsibility to find her. So Alarec is with Jer who is super hungover at the doctors.

Now we go over to Matt and the couch who knows everything about the vampires but they start talking about this guy Jay who has gone missing. Back to “twilight zone” with D & B and Kai who wants to know Damon’s story.

The Vampire Diaries recap: “Welcome To Paradise”

The Vampire Diaries

Welcome to episode 3 of the new season of “The Vampire Diaries.”

Need to recap on episode prior to this, click HERE.

Now we start off with Stefan having anger issues, asking his boss for time off and telling him he’s leaving town while showing him his dead girlfriend, Ivy, in the back of his trunk. So honest, but then again he’s being compelled.

Elena is now Damon-free and with no thoughts of what happened between them, Jeremy is still struggling dealing with Bonnie’s death and it seems like there is a big party going down tonight and everyone is inviting everyone.

Stefan appears back at Elena’s school, she is happy to see him so they go and catch up. He tells her she seems different and happier and they talk about Ivy and the “dinner part from hell.”

We flash over to the other world where Bonnie and Damon are at the grocery store and then while they are there they hear the merry go round outside turn on, thus Bonnie say that it is a sign of hope. As they talk about hope and getting back to the real world all of a sudden they see cars, one of them being Damon’s. Things are starting to get strange  because all of a sudden someone swooshes by. That “someone” ends up being a tarp but then the merry go round starts playing again.

The Vampire Diaries Recap: “I’ll Remember”

The Vampire Diaries

Welcome back to the start of season 6 of “The Vampire Diaries!”

This is so very exciting since we left off with Damon and Bonnie stuck in the other world with no way to come back. This season promises to be filled with a lot more love, drama, violence and heightened emotions so let’s start the recap of episode 1, “I’ll Remember.”

Four months have passed since Damon & Bonnie left this Earth and Elena is not coping well and the vampires are not allowed back into their town due to the curse that the travelers have put upon it.

In the first scene we are in the woods with two youngin’s making out in a tent when they hear something outside which happens to be Sheriff Forbes. The two love birds are headed back to their car when something captures the girl and they end up being killed in the opening scene.

Elena has decided to become a med student to get unlimited access to blood. Something that I didn’t recall was that Alaric came back from the dead, is a vampire now and teaching at the college.

Stefan is trying to keep busy working at a body shop and is grieving in his own way. But is doing something undercover with a lady friend he met at his new location. Caroline dropped out of Whitmore and found a new home with her mom.

Recap last week’s episode HERE, to refresh your memory on what’s happening on The Originals.

The church is up and running and Father Kieran welcomes the new people into the church. While he says goodbye to all the church people one witch grabs his hand, curses him and marks an x on his hand. Death is on the horizon for him. Now Marcel knows about the resurrected witch and thinks this is how they will get Davina back. Hayley thinks it’s the work of Celeste who Davina was warning them with with the picture she drew. Now Elijah who was Celeste’s lover is worried that Hayley might be in danger and begs Rebekah to take her to the plantation house. Bekah questions if this is to get her out of the way so she doesn’t plot against Klaus or because he truly wants Hayley to be safe.

Klaus knows that the witches are plotting against them and that they are raging war on them since the body of Papa Tunde is put in his home with the witches symbols. Father Kieran goes to the bar Cami works at and tells her that his time is limited, she gets scared and then a red headed witch tells her that she can save her uncle if she takes the knife that Papa Tunde had and stab it through Klaus’ heart.

The Originals Recap: “Dance Back From The Grave”

Celeste is back and ready to ignite her powers on New Orleans. Forgot how she got back and what happened with Davina? Refresh your memory HERE!

We start off with witches in the graveyard and a flashback memory of a gathering long ago in 1919, where the witches gathered to discuss the new evils that have arrived in New Orleans. A man in a white crisp suit, warns the citizens and tells them all that he will keep them safe if they accept his family into their coven and him as their leader since he holds new darker powers.

Elijah and Klaus looking dapper in their 20’s outfits show us their dealings with the humans of the city of New Orleans and how they got the chance to rule it. Then the new wizard, the man in the crisp white suit, Papa Tunde, shows up and bargains the witches safety while the Originals try and take over. He leaves them with a parting gift which is the mayor’s head.

Back to current time, Marcel is still torn from Davina’s death and Klaus sets Theirry free. Klaus’ next plan is to rouse up the witches but Marcel is still sulking. Rebekah and Elijah walk the city and she tells him about how she is sick of being controlled by Klaus and his tricks. Elijah believes that Klaus is approaching some sense of peace and if she doesn’t support him to please not provoke him.

Marcel and Klaus duke it out but get interrupted by Diego showing them two dead vampires with witch marks all over them. Marcel warns the other vamps that that is some messed up mojo and to stay away from it. Rebekah and Thierry stumble upon  witches work in an abandoned warehouse, Bekah questions why it would be there but thinks it was left out in the open on purpose. Then all of a sudden the man in the crisp white suit from the earlier flashbacks appears, Rebekah says that it is impossible. He tells her it is magic that brought him back and then reaches out to get, says some spells while choking her and then has a very sharp knife and stabs it through her forehead!

Dying and annoyed Katherine just wants to end her life, even in death her vanity pours out like no other. Stefan is there to comfort her and musters up a little compassion. But maybe he shouldn’t. Then out of nowhere Nadia knocks out Matt while he’s getting more booze and Stefan goes to join the gang to drink but strangely praises Katherine. The Originals Recap: “Apres Moi, Le Deluge”

Witches are reigning in New Orleans. Need a recap of the previous episode? Click HERE!

Celeste was a powerful witch, just like Davina but had an unfortunate death and now has been coming back to New Orleans in the form of Davina’s drawings. But what is the meaning of her drawings? As Elijah, Klaus and Hayley are talking about the “all powerful”, Davina is enraged with Marcel throwing a fit, but as she continues to throw things at him she pauses and starts throwing up dirt and stones. The house shakes as well as the whole town.

Rebekah goes to check on her and tells her that she told her to go easy on causing havoc. But Davina insists that it is beyond her control. Elijah knowing that this is a witch’s problem decides to go to them, not until Hayley informs Elijah of what she has done to protect her family. So apparently as we know from last episode, Hayley went through Elijah’s journal to find out where Celeste’s remains were to tell Sophie. Elijah hurt by what Hayley has done tells her that Celeste asked him to hide her remains where no one could find her and never disturb her. Now Elijah’s promise to Celeste is broken and we know that Elijah’s promises are everything.

Sophie, who only cares about her niece, thinks that she must gather more power and must complete the Harvest. With Davina holding all the power, terrible things will happen. Wind, water and fire among other disastrous Earth shattering events will proceed and then it could be goodbye New Orleans. Sophie’s warnings are not taken lightly but Davina and her power are strong and convincing them gets a little easier. Davina’s death is said to complete the Harvest, where the other sacrificed witches will be resurrected, all the witches will regain their power and thus the Originals will lose their power over them. Not wanting to lose the empire they built, Klaus and Elijah go out to talk to certain people on their list.

Rebekah, still on her plan to win over New Orleans goes to Sophie to enlist her on her team. When it comes to it, witches will have their power and Rebekah will have her witch to take control. But could this happen? Davina must be sacrificed but Marcel is too invested in her to let that happen. While he has flashbacks of the day he saved Davina he says that he is done listening to Klaus, kills some vamps and takes Davina with him.

Elijah goes to the graveyard while Sophie tries to resurrect Celeste. Turns out that Celeste was Elijah’s one true love who we had found out about when he was delusional from Klaus’ bite. The night gets intense as time is running out. Davina is nowhere to be found, the Earth is shattering, but she is safe in Marcel’s arms who tells her that no one will hurt her. Father Kieran has no idea where they could be either, to Hayley’s surprise she finds a clan of ware wolves at the church where Klaus takes her. Surprised that Klaus would help out wolves, she discovers that they are part of Klaus’ clan. They share the same blood and so does the baby that is in her. As he leaves he gives her some advice, to just apologize to Elijah, he is a master of forgiveness. Wow, nice one Klaus, looks like there’s heart in there.

On the witches side it seems that they can’t bring Celeste back and they are losing time. As they tell Elijah that there is no other way he stops and tells him that there is one other witch who could provide the power. His mother. Elijah goes to Rebekah and Klaus to tell them the plan and then it’s time to say hello to dearest momma. Clever Rebekah knows the right person to go to to find out where Marcel could have taken Davina. Thierry knows exactly the correct spot and Rebekah seeks them out. Phase one, rain, starts to pour and the beginning of Davina’s terrible disaster begins. The Originals and Hayley along with Father Kieran unite to bring back their mother and finish the Harvest. Rebekah tells them that Marcel will bring her to them.

Davina on the other hand knows that her time has come. She takes herself to be sacrificed. As her throat gets slit, the rains stops. The girls are all laid down and the reaping begins. Sophie does the ritual but for a moment nothing happens. And nothing ever happens. The girls are not resurrected and it’s the end. Davina is dead and Marcel is torn. He has lost his friend, his family and the one person he cared about. Hayley and Elijah walk the streets of the town and she apologizes to him. Though it is hard for him to forgive her she tells him that she lives in the now. As she walks away Elijah grabs her and for an intense moment we all pray that he will grab her and give her the best kiss ever…but he doesn’t. He just gets close enough to want it, but backs away. So now Klaus and Rebekah ponder the loss of the tween witches but wonder one specific thing.

Where did all the power go? Rebekah starts to think, since four girls died, where and who has it now?

Something must be up though, a strange man appears out of the graveyard, the witch is making some strange concoction and other witches are entering New Orleans. As they all gather around, they ask what this is all for, the witch says first of all call me by my real name, “Celeste”! OMG!!

The Originals Recap: “The River in Reverse”

Klaus recruits Cami to write his biography and when she psychoanalyzes him and Klaus gets all worked up when Cami tells him he is scared and has trust issues. He then goes to Father Kieran to tell him to tell Cami to leave town. Elijah on the otherhand is not doing so well with the bite that Klaus has given him. With Hayley by his side he starts hallucinating, she enters his mind and sees thoughts of another beautiful woman in a bathtub. The woman is none other than Celeste, a witch who was friendly with Elijah back many centuries ago.
